Drug Interactions

Rescula may react with a few other medications (see Rescula Drug Interactions).
 

Important Information for Your Healthcare Provider

You should talk with your healthcare provider prior to using Rescula if you have:
 
  • An eye infection or eye swelling
  • An inflammatory eye condition, such as iritis or uveitis
  • Had eye surgery
  • Any condition that increases your risk for macular edema (swelling of the macula, an area of the retina), such as diabetes
  • Any allergies, including to medications, foods, dyes, or preservatives.
 
Also, let your healthcare provider know if you:
   
Make sure to tell your healthcare provider about all other medications you are taking, including prescription and nonprescription medicines, vitamins, and herbal supplements.

What If I Overdose on Rescula?

It is not entirely clear what to expect from an overdose with Rescula. Seek immediate medical attention if you or someone else may have overdosed on this medication.

What Should I Do If I Forget a Dose?

If you forget a dose, take it as soon as you remember, unless it is almost time for the next dose. In this case, simply skip the missed dose and continue with your regular schedule. Do not take a double dose.
