OptiPranolol Side Effects

In clinical studies, temporary eye discomfort was the single most common side effect reported with OptiPranolol. Problems that were also reported in these studies included watery eyes, drowsiness, and nosebleeds. Although most side effects of this medicine are mild, some are potentially serious. You should seek medical attention immediately if you experience chest pain, difficulty breathing, anxiety, or depression.

An Introduction to OptiPranolol Side Effects

As with any medicine, OptiPranolol® (metipranolol) can cause side effects. However, not everyone who takes the medication will have problems. In fact, most people tolerate it quite well. If side effects do occur, in most cases, they are minor and either require no treatment or can easily be treated by you or your healthcare provider.

(This article covers many, but not all, of the possible side effects with OptiPranolol. Your healthcare provider can discuss a more complete list of OptiPranolol side effects with you.)
