Using bimatoprost, latanoprost, or any other eye drops with Zioptan can lead to negative interactions. These drug combinations may increase the pressure in the eye or cause a solid material to form in the eye. In many cases, healthcare providers will advise you to not use these products while undergoing treatment with Zioptan.

Bimatoprost and Zioptan are very similar medications. Interestingly, using them together can make them less effective and may actually increase eye pressure. These medications should not be used together.
Latanoprost and Zioptan are very similar medications, and both are used to treat high eye pressure and glaucoma. Interestingly, using them together can make them less effective and may actually increase eye pressure. These medications should not be used together.
Other Eye Drops
Make sure to separate Zioptan and any other eye drop by at least five minutes. Using them closer together could cause a precipitate (a solid material) to form.
