Lumigan Drug Interactions

If you use latanoprost or any other eye drops in combination with Lumigan, drug interactions could occur. Using latanoprost together with Lumigan can reduce the effectiveness of both drugs, and using other eye drops within five minutes of Lumigan can cause a precipitate to form. To help prevent drug interactions with Lumigan, tell your healthcare provider about all other medications you are using.

Latanoprost (Xalatan)
Latanoprost and Lumigan are very similar medications (both used to treat high eye pressure and glaucoma). Interestingly, using them together can make them less effective and may actually increase eye pressure. These medications should not be used together.
 
Any Other Eye Drops
Make sure to separate Lumigan and any other eye drop by at least five minutes. Taking them closer together could cause a precipitate (a solid material) to form.
