Istalol Drug Interactions

If you take Istalol in combination with certain other medications, drug interactions could occur. Some of the medications that may negatively interact with Istalol include certain calcium channel blockers, digoxin, and epinephrine. Some of these drug interactions can cause a dangerously slow heart rate, dangerously low blood pressure, or other serious problems.

Drug Interactions With Istalol

Istalol® (timolol maleate) can potentially interact with several other medications. Some of these medicines that may lead to Istalol interactions include:
 

 

 

 

 

  • Digoxin (Digitek®, Lanoxin®)
  • Epinephrine (EpiPen®)
  • Methacholine (Provocholine®)
  • Other beta blockers, including (but not limited to):

 

 

  • Reserpine.
