Travatan Eyedrops

In April 2010, Alcon, Inc., announced that it would no longer be making regular Travatan® (travoprost ophthalmic solution) eyedrops. This medication was used to reduce eye pressure in people with high eye pressure (ocular hypertension) or open-angle glaucoma.

If you used regular Travatan eyedrops in the past and are looking for an alternative, your healthcare provider may recommend a different formulation of the drug called Travatan Z, which contains a gentler preservative.
