What If I Take an Overdose?

It is not clear what exactly to expect from an overdose with this medication. If you happen to use too much Cosopt, seek immediate medical attention.
(Click Cosopt Overdose for more information.)

How Should Cosopt Be Stored?

Cosopt should be stored between 59°F and 86°F, away from light and heat. Keep this and all other medications out of the reach of children. For the single-use containers, keep them in their original pouch. After a pouch (which holds 15 containers) is opened, it must be discarded after 15 days.

What Should I Do If I Miss a Dose?

If you do not take your Cosopt as scheduled, take it as soon as you remember. If it is almost time for your next dose, skip the one you missed and continue with your regular schedule. Do not take a double dose.

Cosopt Strengths

Cosopt comes in one strength (2% dorzolamide and 0.5% timolol) in 10-mL multi-dose bottles and in 0.2-mL preservative-free single-use containers (which have enough medication for one dose in one or both eyes).

Can I Buy Generic Cosopt?

This medication is available in generic form (see Generic Cosopt).
