Betimol Drug Interactions
Methacholine
It is very dangerous to combine methacholine with Betimol. Doing so could cause severe, asthma-like breathing problems that are not easily corrected. These medications should never be combined.
Other Beta Blockers
Betimol is a beta blocker eye drop. Caution should be used if Betimol is used with other beta blockers, especially oral beta blockers. Such combinations may increase the risk of side effects. Additionally, it is not recommended to use two different beta blocker eye drops at the same time.
Reserpine
Combining reserpine with a beta blocker can increase the risk of serious side effects. You may need to be monitored very closely if you take these medications together. In some cases, it is not recommended to combine Betimol with reserpine.
It is possible that not all interactions with Betimol were discussed in this article. Therefore, you should talk with your pharmacist or healthcare provider about any specific interactions that may apply to you.
