Betagan Drug Interactions

Several medications can cause potentially dangerous drug interactions with Betagan, including certain calcium channel blockers, digoxin, and methacholine. Some of these drug interactions may cause a dangerously slow heart rate or increase your risk of serious side effects. To avoid any interactions, make sure to talk to your healthcare provider about any other medications you are taking.

Drug Interactions With Betagan: An Overview

Betagan® (levobunolol hydrochloride) can potentially interact with several other medications. Some of these medicines that may lead to interactions with Betagan include:
 

 

 

  • Digoxin (Digitek®, Lanoxin®)
  • Methacholine (Provocholine®)
  • Other beta blockers, including (but not limited to):

 

 

  • Reserpine.
